During the meeting, Mr. Daniyal Zafar familiarized himself with valuable manuscripts and rare books that form part of the historical and cultural heritage of the Kazakh people, as well as with the work of the Restoration and Conservation Laboratory of the National Center, where ancient manuscripts and rare books are preserved, studied, and restored.
The parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation with archives and libraries of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, as well as opportunities for joint work in the study and preservation of historical and cultural heritage. Particular attention was given to the exchange of experience in the field of manuscript and rare book restoration and conservation.
The meeting marked an important step toward strengthening Kazakhstan–Pakistan cooperation in the preservation of historical and cultural heritage, the study of archival materials, and the development of professional collaboration in the field of manuscript and rare book restoration and conservation.
