The event aimed to promote national written heritage, introduce rare manuscripts and book collections preserved in foreign repositories into academic circulation, and expand access to cultural values through modern digital solutions and AI technologies.
Special attention was given to the development and promotion of a reading culture in society.
The catalog-album presents bibliographic descriptions of 72 manuscripts and rare printed editions in Arabic, Persian, Chagatai, Turkic, and Kazakh languages, preserved in foreign archives and libraries. The materials were compiled based on the results of scientific archaeographic expeditions and research conducted in international collections.
As part of the event, a virtual version of the permanent exhibition “Written Heritage of the Great Steppe” was presented. It provides an opportunity to explore unique historical materials in a modern digital format. Access to the exhibits is available via QR codes: by scanning them, visitors can obtain detailed information about rare manuscripts and publications, ensuring a deeper and more interactive engagement with the national cultural heritage.
