On September 22, 2026, the National center for manuscripts and rare books hosted a delegation led by H.E. Dr. Yousef Abdullah Al Obaidli, Director General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center, alongside representatives from the Center and diplomats from the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Kazakhstan.

During the visit, the delegation explored the National center’s unique collection of Arabic-script manuscripts and rare Quranic editions. The guests also visited the Restoration and conservation department, where they were introduced to modern technologies and techniques used to preserve and restore priceless manuscript heritage. To mark the occasion, Dr. Yousef Abdullah Al Obaidli left a commemorative entry in the Center’s Book of Honored Guests.
This meeting marks an important milestone in deepening cultural and scientific ties between Kazakhstan and the UAE, opening new avenues for joint efforts in preserving our shared historical heritage.
