The event was attended by Alma Tastemirova, Head of the Restoration and Conservation Department of the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books, and Syrym Botabekov, an artist-restorer.
The purpose of the seminar was to bring together specialists in the fields of preservation, conservation, and restoration of rare manuscripts and archival documents, to discuss current issues, and to exchange professional experience.
The seminar was organized within the framework of the scientific project “Manuscript Heritage of Kazakhstan: Registration, Restoration, Scholarly Cataloguing, Digitization, and Comprehensive Codicological Research.”
Following the seminar, participants were awarded special certificates.
