Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the National Center of Manuscripts and Rare Books and the Ғылым ордасы Research and Production Enterprise, as well as within the project “Manuscript Heritage of Kazakhstan: Registration, Restoration, Scientific Cataloguing, Digitization, and Comprehensive Codicological Research,” a joint professional development internship was conducted.

Among the participants of the international internship organized at the Presidential National Library of the Republic of Türkiye (T.C. Cumhurbaşkanlığı Millet Kütüphanesi) and the Rami Library (Rami Kütüphanesi) was S. Botabekov, an artist-restorer of the Restoration and Conservation Department of the National Center.

The participants received theoretical and practical training from Turkish colleagues in the fields of scientific description of manuscripts and rare books, digitization, cataloguing, restoration, and conservation.

At the end of the internship, the participants were awarded special internationally recognized certificates.
