Today, the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books was honored to welcome H.E. Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Kazakhstan, along with Mr. Sanjay Vedi, First Secretary and Director of the Indian Cultural Center.
During their visit, the distinguished guests explored the center’s collection of unique manuscripts and reviewed research on the historical ties between Kazakhstan and India. The center’s staff shared fascinating insights about Kazakhs who lived in India during different historical periods.
It is worth noting that scholars and experts from our center have previously traveled to India to study and search for rare manuscripts related to Kazakhstan’s history. These visits have contributed to strengthening academic collaboration and deepening cultural ties between the two nations.
We are delighted to foster bilateral relations in the fields of science and culture and look forward to further cooperation!
