The purpose of the webinar was to promote the exchange of experience in the study of manuscripts and rare books, restoration, and the development of digital collections, to discuss modern approaches to preserving scholarly heritage and increasing its accessibility, as well as to strengthen professional cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus.
During the event, the Director of the National Center, PhD Zhаndos Boldykov, and the Deputy Director General of the National Library of Belarus, Viktor Prybytkо, emphasized the importance of experience sharing between the two institutions.
At the conclusion of the webinar, participants exchanged views on the presentations and discussed issues related to the preservation of manuscript heritage, restoration, and its integration into the digital environment.
